Cloudi Waitlist Privacy Notice
This notice explains what we collect when you join the Cloudi waitlist and what we do with it. It covers the waitlist only. When Cloudi opens, the Cloudi app will have its own privacy policy, and we'll show it to you before you create an account.
Who we are
Cloudi is operated by Fanbase Creator Services, LLC, a Georgia limited liability company doing business as "Cloudi" ("Cloudi", "we", "us"). Cloudi is part of the Fanbase family of products.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, you give us:
- your name and email address (required); and
- your main social media platform and handle (optional). Handles are usually public on those platforms.
When you visit the page, we also receive:
- the campaign details in the link you used (such as "utm_source=tiktok"), and the address of the page that sent you, if your browser shares it;
- your IP address, which we use briefly to block repeated or automated sign-ups. We don't store it with your sign-up; and
- standard technical information that our hosting provider records in short-term server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the time of the request.
Please don't send us sensitive information such as government ID numbers, financial details or health information. We don't ask for it.
Cookies and similar technologies
The waitlist page doesn't set cookies. It uses your browser's session storage to remember the campaign details above until you close the tab.
The page loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when the page loads. If you press Play on a creator video, the video loads from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode, and YouTube may then set its own cookies or similar items.
We don't use advertising or analytics trackers on the waitlist page.
How we use your information
- To save your place in line and avoid duplicate sign-ups.
- To email you about your Cloudi access, such as when your spot opens.
- To understand which campaigns bring people to the waitlist, in aggregate.
- To protect the waitlist from spam, fraud and abuse, and to meet our legal obligations.
We'll only email you about your Cloudi access. We won't send you marketing emails unless you separately agree, and every email includes a way to unsubscribe.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for targeted (cross-context behavioral) advertising.
We share it only with service providers that process it for us under contract:
- Airtable stores waitlist sign-ups (United States);
- Vercel hosts the website (United States);
- our email service provider sends waitlist emails; and
- Google delivers fonts, and YouTube videos if you choose to play one.
We don't share your waitlist information with Fanbase Social Media, Inc. or other affiliates unless you ask us to.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the rights, property or safety of our users, us or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. If that happens, we'll give any notice the law requires.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist information for 12 months after you sign up, then delete it. We'll delete it sooner if you ask. If you create a Cloudi account before then, the Cloudi privacy policy applies to your account.
Your choices and rights
- Stop emails: use the unsubscribe link in any email, or write to us.
- Access, correction and deletion: email privacy@fanbase.app with "Cloudi waitlist" in the subject line. To protect you, we'll confirm the request from the email address you signed up with.
Depending on where you live, including California and other U.S. states with privacy laws, the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, you may also have the right to receive a copy of your information in a portable format, to object to or restrict certain uses, and to withdraw consent. We'll respond within the time the law requires. We won't treat you differently for using these rights.
An authorized agent may make a request for you with proof of your permission. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision. If we deny your appeal, you can contact your state Attorney General or, in the EEA or UK, your data protection authority.
Age requirement
The waitlist is for people 17 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 17. If we learn that we have, we'll delete it.
Where your information is stored
We store your information in the United States. If you live in the EEA or the UK, we process your sign-up to take the steps you asked for (joining the waitlist and getting access). We use campaign and security information for our legitimate interests in running and protecting the waitlist. You can complain to your local data protection authority, although we'd appreciate the chance to help first.
Security
We encrypt information in transit, limit access to the people who need it, and protect the sign-up list with access controls. No system is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this notice
If we change this notice, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll also email everyone on the waitlist before it takes effect.
